Black... Continues To Be A Fashion Statement

Black is not only an elegant color, it continues to be a very popular choice in 2009 /2010 for wedding colors! Black roses or rosettes, and black and white table linens provide a very sophisticated, modern, and ultra chic look! Splashing the color around can provide a beautiful backdrop for your photographers/videographers!

Black and white weddings are coming back in a big way! Utilizing the colors in the right way can act as a "blast from the past" - 40's retro styling, in a very modern and stylized way. Black always sends a timeless elegance message, and whether you do white table linens with black splashes of colors, red rose petals scattered over the tables, or whether you do a black or white lace overlay, it can be utterly beautiful! Of course, you have to include the satin chair covers with a color coordinated sash, to make the whole schematic work.

If you are looking for a very trendy, ultra chic and modern planning concept for your wedding, do not underestimate the power of black! Having your photographer snap a couple of black and white pictures also will capture the moment in a very elegant and modern way!

Posted by Rustyt: Black is amazing, I am using it for my bridesmaid dresses and my table cloths. I know it will be beautiful. To make sure there isn't too much black I am adding tons of beautiful flowers with rich yellows and reds.

Another option for the black tablecloths is to drape white pearls around the centerpiece on the tables; or, if you use the pearls, you can also do a single floating colored candle or a colorful head of a flower - possibly a red or yellow, in a white ceramic base. It would be very beautiful! Good luck!
